Curriculum

St. Helen School is committed to providing a quality academic program that provides for the continued spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, psychological and moral growth of all its students. St. Helen School follows the guidelines set forth by the State of California and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Teachers follow the common core and the archdiocesan guidelines in forming a comprehensive curriculum map for each subject at each grade level.

Students receive grade appropriate instruction in Religion, Math, Language Arts (reading/literature, English/grammar, writing, vocabulary, spelling), Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Art, Music and Computer/technology.

Students that need extra help or want to enrich their academic program are encouraged to take advantage of the daily tutoring and enrichment classes after school.

Average class size at St. Helen School is 25 students per class K - 8.
