  • Virtus and Volunteering
    Interested in volunteering this year?  Safety of our children is a priority at our school and volunteers involved in school MUST be fingerprinted by the archdiocese and attend a 3 hour Virtus training class.  Once you have completed the Virtus certification, you need only to recertify every 4 years or less if you maintain your online recertification.  Fingerprinting is a one-time process and will be kept in the archdiocese database.  Fingerprinting date to be announced. Sign up early for Virtus training classes before they fill up!   Dates for Virtus classes at St. Catherine are as follows:
    Virtus: Protecting God's Children (For new certification)
    Thursday , August 22nd

    Virtus: Keeping the Promise Alive (For recertification)
    Thursday , August 29th

    Please note our summer school office hours, as follows:  
    Office Closed from Friday, June 14-Sunday, June 30th
     
    Office reopens on July 1st with limited hours  
    July 9- July 31 
    Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 8:00am-10:30am
     
    Office is open in August 1st-August 19th
     Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 8:00am-12:00pm
     
    Office will resume normal business hours beginning August 20th
     
     
  • Gold Country California
    See history come alive as we travel to Sacramento, Sutter's Fort and the American River next year on our Sacramento 2020 trip.  Through Worldstrides, our 4th graders and their families are invited to join us in experiencing the 4th grade history curriculum in person, touring our State Government and learning what our early settlers learned as they pan for gold.  For more information, pick up a Sacramento packet in the school office.
     
    Washington DC
    What obstacles did our country face as they settled in this new country?  What did our Veteran's have to give up in the fight for freedom? How is our government run? Join us as we travel to Washington DC (recommended for 7th and 8th grade)next year 2020. Learn and see first hand, all we've learned in our Social Science classes. To find out more about Washington DC and our travel curriculum, visit the school office or pick up a Washington DC packet from the school office.
